September 24CFO AI Round Table
A confidential peer discussion for CFOs on moving AI from successful use cases to scalable enterprise value.
Many organizations are already seeing measurable value from AI in individual workflows and use cases. The harder question is what happens next: Why are some companies getting value from AI but still struggling to scale it?
This round table will bring CFOs together to examine where the scaling process is actually breaking down—including workflow and use-case readiness, data, governance, adoption, organizational ownership, and ROI.
The session is designed as an interactive peer discussion rather than a presentation. Participants will compare experiences, identify the barriers emerging in their organizations, and learn how other finance leaders are approaching the transition from isolated AI wins to repeatable enterprise capability.
Featured Discussion: From AI Value to Enterprise Scale
Why are some companies getting value from AI but still struggling to scale it?
AI can create significant value in an individual workflow without the organization being ready—or able—to scale that value more broadly. During this discussion, CFOs will explore where that transition is breaking down:
- Use case & workflow: Are we solving a meaningful business problem, and does the solution actually work?
- Data: Do we have the quality, access, structure, and permissions required to scale?
- Governance: Who owns the decisions, risks, guardrails, security, privacy, compliance, and accountability?
- Adoption: Are people actually changing the way they work and using AI consistently?
- ROI: Can we credibly demonstrate enough value to justify further investment and scale?
The objective is not simply to identify barriers, but to understand when they emerge, which become the real constraint, and what organizations are doing to move past them.
The CFO Perspective
Scaling AI is not solely a technology challenge.
It raises questions about capital allocation, ROI, organizational ownership, operating-model change, risk, governance, workforce adoption, and the infrastructure required to support broader deployment.
That puts CFOs in a particularly strategic position: helping the organization determine where AI is creating real value, what is preventing that value from scaling, and which constraint is worth solving next.
