We will use the session to explore:

• How CFOs should evaluate AI investments before costs and risks scale
• Where hidden costs typically appear in AI adoption
• What responsible AI governance looks like from a financial leadership perspective
• How finance leaders can pressure-test vendor claims, ROI assumptions, and execution readiness
• How AI can move from productivity tool to strategic thought partner for executive decision-making
• How CFOs should think about vendor obligations, contracting risk, and ownership of AI-related responsibilities

We will use Bird & Bird’s Contracting for Artificial Intelligence Systems as a reference point, not as required reading, to help ground the conversation in practical questions around vendor obligations, governance, risk ownership, and ROI.
